the process by which you can return an app you’ve purchased from the Apple App Store for a period of 14 days after purchase. Well, today is the turn for users of Android smartphones and tablets, because also those of you who buy applications in the Google Play Store can return your purchase and get a refund of the money paid.
If you want to know how to carry out this process and, above all, the conditions imposed by the company for it, you should continue reading this post.
Return an app to the Play Store for Android
In the case of iOS, it was necessary to visit a special Apple page to report the problem we have with an application or cancel the purchase and get our money back.
When we talk about the Google Play Store, the process is even simpler, although its requirements are more demanding.
If you want to return a purchased application (understand that you can not return an app that is free, just remove it from your device), just go to the Android app store itself and look for the application you no longer want.
If everything works the way it should, in the app tab you’ll find the classic Get button, but also a second button that says “Get Refund.
Press this second button and follow the on-screen instructions to cancel the purchase of the app and obtain a refund using the same payment method you used to purchase it. However, you should know that you only have two hours after purchase to make the return. Yeah, you read that right.
Unlike Apple, which gives us fourteen days, Google limits it to just a couple of hours. But that doesn’t mean you can’t get your money back past this ridiculous deadline.
In this situation you must click on the option “Report a problem”. Then click on “Claim a refund”. You will then have to state the reasons why you wish to make the return.
