How to deactivate the last connection time in Instagram?

Connection time in Instagram

Instagram decided to start with the left foot. Recently, in WhatsApp’s best style, it has introduced a feature called “Active does…” which shows your followers the last time you connected to the application.

Specifically, the connection time appears in the direct message section of Instagram (also known as Direct) just below the name of the friends or contacts you’ve been interacting with recently.connection time in Instagram

But don’t get confused. The connection time refers to the last time you entered Instagram, but not when you entered the messaging section of the application.

However, this function, which many have called impertinent, invasive, and even somewhat chilling, has a simple way to deactivate.

Just keep in mind that if you don’t want your contacts to see your last connection, and you decide to deactivate it, just like WhatsApp, you won’t be able to see each other’s last connection either.
