Cleaning an iron is easier than you think
- First make sure it’s unplugged and cold. Meanwhile, prepare a simple pasta with one part water and two parts baking soda.

- Use a damp towel to stir the pasta. You’ll see that the dirt and accumulated rust will also come out. If you notice some stains that didn’t come out, try a solution of vinegar and salt.
- The next step in cleaning an iron is to fill the tank with a mixture of water and vinegar. In any case, check in the manual that you can use this last agent; if not, use only water.
- Connect the iron and take it to maximum temperature. Use a piece of cloth and iron as you always do. You’ll notice how all the dirt comes out and the steam isn’t as clear as ever. After about 10 minutes, disconnect and finally empty the container.
