How to pass free space from one partition to another

How to pass free space

Free space is known as unused space, unlike unallocated space, is the storage available for use on a partition although both occupy a portion of storage on the PC.

How to pass free space from one partition

Many times, we come across such a case that our C drive runs out of space, is almost full causing the slow performance of our computer, but the neighboring partition D has enough free space available, then, comes the idea of moving that unused space from D to C.

However, how to do it in case you can not use the disk management tool built into Windwos? Don’t worry, here you will teach how to pass free space to another partition with a partition management software.

Move free space to a partition with EaseUS Partition Master

EaseUS Partition Master as a better alternative to Windows Disk Management, allows basic operations on a disk partition, such as resizing partition, formatting partition, creating partition, deleting partition and merging two partitions into one large partition, converting FAT file system to NTFS without losing data, etc.

It is easy to use, the function Resize the partition can free the free space of a partition doing it as unallocated space so that later we assign it to the partition that we want to extend, during the process allows us to define the size of free space that we want to add to partition C according to our need.

And now it is fully compatible with the new Windows 10 operating system, you can get a free trial of this software using the download button below. The following will show detailed steps to pass free space from partition D to partition C.
