The most superstitious claim that bone pain predicts bad weather or weather… But the truth is that it is simply a nuisance or symptom of some disease that can be easily treated.

Today there are many ways to reduce or eliminate bone pain, one of them is to resort to home remedies that are also healthy for our body in general.

What are bone pains?

They are ailments or discomforts in the bony part of the human body, usually experienced in the joints. They are less common than joint and muscle aches.

Home Remedies to Eliminate Bone Pain

  1. Phytotherapy can be an excellent natural alternative since it is catalogued as one of the best home remedies for bone pain.

Phytotherapy is nothing more than the use of certain medicinal plants that act as desinflamantes and relieve bone pain. They also improve the mobility and state of the joints by preventing prolonged wear and tear of the bones.

To apply the plants must be selected to make an infusion that will make contact with the affected area externally.

  1. Horsetail is a type of plant (not to be confused with the area of the animal) that stands out among those used by the previously mentioned phytotherapy to alleviate pain in the bones.

It is especially recommended for treating osteoporosis, accelerating the process of creating bone tissue and recovering from fractures or fissures.

To apply, create an infusion with one cup of water for each spoonful of dried ponytail, then boil the water and let it stand for several minutes.

Finally, the result should be strained and optionally sweetened with sugar or honey for a better taste. One cup a day is recommended until the pain stops.

  1. Rosemary is another prominent plant in the phytotherapy group that can be used both orally and externally:

In the oral form an infusion of rosemary oil should be prepared by placing small drops of rosemary oil in a cup of water, then strain and drink each day until you notice the improvement.

In the external form the rosemary oil must be heated and applied with the hands doing soft massages for all the affected zone, doing this practice every day the oil penetrates in the skin to feel the relief.

  1. Nettle is a plant characterized by its diuretic properties making it an ideal choice for relieving pain from bone wear and reducing fluid buildup in joints.

To apply, the nettle root should be boiled for about 10 minutes to prepare an infusion that is recommended to be taken each day in a cup. As an alternative to the oral remedy, a poultice soaked with the infusion can be prepared to rest on the affected area for about 20 minutes.

  1. Ginger infusion is a home treatment famous for its effectiveness in reducing bone pain and treating other diseases such as arthritis. In traditional Chinese medicine this plant is highly valued and the knowledge to treat its root is passed on from generation to generation in the families.

To prepare, mix a small spoonful of ginger root in a cup of water, then boil and drink once a day.

  1. Raw potato juice is a particular home remedy that, unlike other juices is not drunk, but is applied externally on the affected area reducing discomfort due to its anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects.
  2. Eucalyptus oil is another home remedy that works as a natural analgesic, and is easily available in any health food store or supermarket.

It should be applied in the form of massage on the painful area passing the hands gently.

  1. Cabbage leaves reduce the intensity of bone pains that disappear over time if applied periodically. This food is highly valued due to its shape that can be used as a poultice applied on the affected area.
  2. Meadowsweet, also called queen of the meadows is a plant with excellent anti-inflammatory, anticoagulant and diuretic properties that help eliminate kidney stones, uric acid and especially bone pain.

To apply an infusion should be prepared by placing two grams of dried flowers of the plant in boiling water, after letting the result rest is recommended to drink at least four times a day after each meal.

It can also be used externally by preparing a bath with hot water mixed with 25 grams of dried flowers. Another alternative is to use the flowers as compresses on the affected area.

It should be noted that this remedy cannot be used in children, in people who reject anticoagulants, or in large quantities.
