How to remove a turmeric stain

For a turmeric stain on a garment, don't panic, this is the procedure to follow.

First immerse your garment in cold water and wipe the stain with an absorbent paper towel to remove as much spice as possible from the fibers.

However, be careful not to rub or use hot water, as this can make the situation worse.

Then mix in a bowl some flour, starch and baking soda. Apply the solution to the stain, wait 10 minutes, then rinse and that's it!

There's a second recipe for getting rid of a turmeric stain on an item of clothing!

Prepare a cloth, a lemon, vinegar and washing up liquid. As in the previous recipe, first paint the stain with a paper towel.

Then apply a few drops of dishwashing liquid to the stain and let it sit for several minutes before rinsing it with clean water.

Then, apply the vinegar to the stain with the cloth and rub vigorously with half a lemon.

Now you can rinse and repeat the operation if necessary.

If turmeric gets very dirty on your clothes, it can also mark your skin or nails. How do you get rid of it effectively? Here are three solutions:

Use remover: rub the stains with a soaked cotton, then rinse with a moistened cotton.
Apply hydrogen peroxide: also, prepare a cotton pad, soak it in the solution, before rubbing your skin or nails.
Prepare a solution with salt: mix one tablespoon of olive oil with one tablespoon of salt. Rub the affected areas before rinsing them with hot water!
