Ice

Wrap an ice cube with a cloth or towel and apply that cold to the gum. Rub gently for a few minutes, let the ice run all over the part with the chewing gum. After a few minutes, you will see that it is easy to remove the gum with a spatula.

Hot water

Boil water and soak it in a cloth and then wipe it through the gum. Do it for a few minutes and you’ll see that it softens, so grab a knife and scratch the gum to remove it, you can easily make it hot. If it is a very delicate piece of furniture, use a toothbrush instead of a knife to avoid damaging it.

Iron

If the furniture is upholstered or has a peel, the best method to remove the chewing gum is to apply heat with the iron. Put a cardboard on the fabric on the other side of the chewing gum, do not put the iron directly as that would spoil the iron.

Solvent

If with the previous thing you have not been able to try with solvent, but you must do it with much care since if you do not know how to manipulate it you can damage the furniture easily. Apply directly on the gum and let it act for a few minutes, you’ll see that it begins to peel off only gradually. Scrape with a toothbrush to remove all the gum.

Vinegar

If you don’t want to risk the solvent, you can try vinegar, an ingredient that is a powerful household cleaner. Heat a little vinegar and apply it to the gum. Let it work for about 3-5 minutes and use a toothbrush to scrape and remove the gum.
