Recommendations

The sandpaper is classified according to the numbers that indicate the number of grains (from 40 to 280).

The higher the granulation number of the sandpaper, the finer it is.

Dismantling and sanding the wood with products

Sometimes, especially on painted wood furniture, sanding is not enough, you have to use a special wood stripper.

Apply the product with a brush, let it work, then use a scraper and finally a cloth to remove the debris from the furniture.

Remove old wax or oil

Disassemble the furniture using a nylon brush with handle (to protect hands and arms) soaked in a mixture of one tablespoon of ammonia for a bowl of water, turpentine or a water solution (one glass) for a pinch of oxidrin.

Be careful not to breathe in ammonia fumes!

Protect nose and mouth with a cloth mask, and hands with household gloves.

Open the window of the room where you work for good ventilation.
